Nowaste and Solera enter into a partnership in Stockholm

Nowaste Logistics

Solera Sweden is fast-growing and one of the leading players in the Swedish beverage market. This spring, Nowaste Logistics will take over the logistics operations for Solera. With this, Nowaste is firmly establishing itself in Stockholm.

Solera, part of the Danish brewery group Royal Unibrew, has strong, established relationships with key customers in the Swedish market and imports and sells both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from around the world. It is now confirmed that Nowaste Logistics, a subsidiary within the fruit and vegetable group Dole plc., will become Solera’s new logistics partner starting in April.

Aki Käyhkö, CEO of Solera Sweden, comments:

We are entering an exciting new chapter in our logistics development. By partnering with Nowaste as a new warehousing and distribution partner, we are strengthening our logistics capabilities and ensuring that our customers and the market benefit from a more modern, efficient, and future-proof supply chain, in line with our ambition to build a more sustainable logistics platform for the future.

We welcome change and development. Beverage logistics is a segment that has interested us for a long time, and we are extremely pleased to have been entrusted by Solera. We have found the right partner to take the step into the beverage world, and with that, we are also establishing ourselves in the capital. We are convinced that we can create value with our experience in automation, technology, and our way of working with people, says Nowaste Logistics CEO Johan Kallin.

The operations will be managed from a 33,000 square meter facility in Jordbro south of Stockholm. It is rail-connected and strategically well-located for beverage transport flows. With this new operation, Nowaste Logistics can welcome more customers from the beverage industry.

It has only been a year since Nowaste inaugurated a new terminal in Stigamo outside Jönköping. At the same time, the company is expanding in its hometown Helsingborg with several new terminals, both at Logistikposition Ramlösa and in the port.

As mentioned, we welcome development and the creation of new opportunities for our customers, our staff, and the community around us. It is the opportunities and the development that remain the core and driving force. When we receive new trust like this, we become very proud and happy, and with that, we are moving in exactly the right direction. The Solera assignment is the beginning of something big, and we are truly looking forward to 2026, says Johan Kallin.

We are proud to begin this partnership and look forward to realizing our shared vision — to deliver even greater reliability, flexibility, and value to our customers while setting a new standard in the alcoholic beverage industry, concludes Aki Käyhkö.
