Nowaste establishes itself in Stockholm

Nowaste Logistics is expanding geographically and establishing itself in Stockholm. Operations will start in the spring and represent a major strategic investment.

In recent years, Nowaste Logistics has grown in its hometown of Helsingborg, where the logistics operations now include a large number of terminals and activities in many different industries, from food to home furnishings and apparel.

Last autumn, an entirely new facility was put into operation in Stigamo south of Jönköping, where Nowaste manages warehousing and warehouse operations for customers such as Mestergruppen and Granngården.

Now it is time for yet another milestone in the expansion phase. This spring, Nowaste will launch new operations in Stockholm. It is a major investment for the company. The first facility in the capital will be 33,000 square meters in size, and preparations are well underway.

It is a natural but very exciting step for us to establish operations in Stockholm. We are strong advocates of development, and growing together with new customers and in new industries at strategically important locations is a central part of our progress, says Nowaste’s COO Victor Strånge.

The establishment in Stockholm is strategic from several perspectives — not least when it comes to being closer to consumers and the market in the Mälaren Valley region.

We are very excited about this project, and the region itself is an area we have long viewed as the next strategic location for us to establish ourselves in. We will now have more complete geographical coverage and better meet customers' various needs, thereby strengthening our offering to the market, Victor continues.
