Nowaste signs agreement with Anora for nationwide beverage logistics

Anora Wine

Nowaste Logistics continues to accelerate its engagement and investments in beverage logistics. It is now confirmed that the leading Nordic wine and spirits company Anora has chosen to outsource its logistics operations in Sweden to Nowaste.

The agreement means that Nowaste will handle warehousing and distribution of Anora’s products starting in the first quarter of 2027. In connection with the transition, Anora will discontinue its current logistics operations in Brunna.

It is a very exciting and developing journey we are embarking on together with Anora. The commitment and strength of our joint efforts will drive further development across the entire beverage logistics segment, not least in areas such as sustainability and the work environment, which are key focus areas for both us and Anora. We look forward to continuing the strong work already built by Anora’s professionals," says Johan Kallin, CEO of Nowaste Logistics.

Together with other importers on site, the added volume from the agreement with Anora to Nowaste’s operations in Jordbro, south of Stockholm, creates strong conditions for economies of scale and operational efficiency.

Anora’s decision to outsource its logistics operations will enable the company to focus on its core business: production, quality and product development, brands, and market development.

Through this change, we can strengthen our focus on our production sites and core business areas. Nowaste is a leading logistics provider in the Nordics with a clear ambition to develop technology and sustainable solutions for the future,” says Hannu Vähämurto, SVP Industrial at Anora.

Nowaste Logistics’ establishment in Haninge, just south of Stockholm, has rapidly evolved from start-up to expansion. The company has already signed agreements with several beverage importers, and with Anora as a new customer, its position is further strengthened.

The investment is part of Nowaste Logistics’ long-term strategy to broaden its third-party logistics offering and take a clear position in segments with high demands on traceability, delivery precision, and sustainable handling.

As volumes increase, the Jordbro operation is expected to grow significantly, with a forecast of more than 100 employees and full capacity utilization at the facility.
