Simon Fransson strengthens Nowaste’s sales team

Nowaste Logistics continues to grow and is now strengthening its sales team with Simon Fransson. Having risen through the ranks over the past 16 years, from order picker to production manager, he is now taking the next step within the company.

Over the past year, Nowaste Logistics has established operations in new locations and entered new market segments. Its ambition going forward is clear: to continue growing, developing and creating value for an expanding network of partners.

As part of this initiative, the sales team is now being strengthened with Simon Fransson, a familiar face at Nowaste.

When Simon finished upper secondary school, his dream was actually to become a professional footballer. But on the Monday after graduation, he sat down for a conversation with Nowaste Logistics. The following day, he started working as an order picker at one of the company’s terminals in Helsingborg.That was in 2010. He has been with the company ever since.

Over the years, Simon has worked in goods receiving, been responsible for e-commerce operations and held roles as a supervisor and, most recently, production manager. He now brings his experience across different parts of the business to his new role in sales.

“I realised early on that there were plenty of opportunities to develop within Nowaste. Every role I’ve held has given me new perspectives on our operations, our customers and what it actually takes to create a truly effective logistics solution. Now I’m excited to take the next step,” says Simon Fransson.

“Customer contact has been one of the aspects I’ve enjoyed most in my previous roles, too. For me, sales is about much more than selling a service. It’s about understanding the customer’s business, finding the right solution and building long-term relationships. I also believe that knowing our own operations from the ground up is a strength in those conversations,” says Simon Fransson.
